We ensure access to quality health care services to all who need them. We place emphasis on providing women and girls with the right sort of reproductive health care and medical service that they require while addressing other diseases.

We provide services through our Well Woman and Family Health Clinics (WWFHCs) and BAFROW Medical Centre.

Our health facilities contribute to: 1) improving the quality of sexual and reproductive health of all persons in The Gambia, and in particular women and girls, through the provision of integrated preventive and clinical care, maternal and child health care, and nutritional orientation to all, and 2) reducing illnesses and deaths by treating or managing diseases.

They also serve as training institutions. BAFROW Medical Centre has accreditation from the West African College of Physicians to train junior and senior residents in Family Medicine while our Well Woman’s Family Health Clinics serve as training centres for auxiliary nurses from various beneficiary communities for sustainability of the health facilities and to increase their opportunities in self-advancement.

An essential part of our health care service delivery is prevention which includes the provision of correct, complete and relevant health information to our clients, our project beneficiaries and the general public.
