TRIAGE SYSTEM
©BAFROW Medical Centre
To ensure that every patient receives the right level of care at the right time, all patients go through our triage system upon arrival.
WHAT THIS INVOLVES
- Vital Signs and Bio Data: Our triage nurses measure key vitals such as blood pressure, temperature and weight, and record additional bio data for accurate documentation
- Prioritization of Care: Based on the urgency of medical need, patients are categorized as:
- Emergency: Requiring immediate, life-saving attention
- Urgent: Needing prompt care to prevent complications
- Less Urgent: Which can safely wait without risk of harm
This system ensures that the most severe cases are addressed first, while still providing timely care for all patients.
