INTEGRATED PATIENT CARE
©BAFROW Medical Centre
We emphasize collaboration across our departments, units and disciplines to ensure every patient receives quality comprehensive and coordinated treatment and care. We recognize that healthcare is most effective when clinical, administrative and technical teams work closely together.
HOW WE WORK TOGETHER
- Daily Ward Rounds: Our clinicians conduct patient reviews, supported by technicians (e.g. lab results, imaging) and administrators (e.g. ward supplies, linens, sanitary environment)
Departmental / Interdepartmental / Multidisciplinary Review Meetings: We hold regular meetings:
- For collaborative decision-making on different issues relating to the functionality of the facility
- To discuss cases / review complex cases for multidisciplinary inputs
- To exchange knowledge, expertise and technical insights in order to consistently raise our standard
- Emergency Preparedness: In line with our Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan, our teams coordinate during crises (e.g. an epidemic), ensuring staffing, supplies and technical systems are ready
- Patient-Centred Services: Our administrative team and support staff ensure smooth workflows and access to care, while our Counsellor/ Social Worker – collaborating with clinicians – integrates psychosocial support into our care services
Health Care Co-ordination
Our Family Medicine Unit coordinates the management of patient care across all clinical units, ensuring patients receive comprehensive treatment and care tailored to their individual needs.
