The West African College of Physicians (WACP) held its rigorous Family Medicine examinations for registrars during the August/October 2025 sessions, bringing together medical professionals from across the region. Candidates sat the exams at centres in Abuja and Ibadan, Nigeria, and Accra, Ghana, to demonstrate their clinical expertise and readiness for advanced practice.

We are proud to share that Dr. Abdulwasiu Adeboyega, Senior Registrar in Family Medicine at BAFROW Medical Centre, sat for and passed the WACP Family Medicine Fellowship Examinations— a testament to his dedication, skill and perseverance.

Since joining BAFROW Medical Centre in June 2024 as a Senior Registrar, Dr. Adeboyega has consistently demonstrated excellence, compassion and commitment to patient-centred care. His achievement reflects not only personal determination but also the values we uphold as a health facility.
